Healing Hands: Perfect in just about every way. Whispers: Drags on far too long. Club At The End Of The Street: My personal favourite, nice little rocker. Sleeping With The Past: Nothing special. Average Elton. Stone's Throw From Hurtin': URGH Sacrifice: Repetitive and unchanging, and still manages to be one of my favourite Elton songs. I Never Knew Her Name: One of the album highlights. Amazes Me: Nice change of genre for Elton, but still could have been a lot better. Blue Avenue: Is it over yet? Reg Strikes Back: Town Of Plenty: Great tune, stupid lyric, and annoyingly sung. A Word In Spanish: Love it. Takes a few listens, though. Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters Part 2: Love it. I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That: Classic. Japanese Hands: Beautiful. Goodbye Marlon Brando: Rather strange, but still great. The Camera Never Lies: Unmemorable. Heavy Traffic: Great harmonies. Poor Cow: My favourite. Since God Invented Girls: Another favourite. The One (album): loses emotion in the echo. Simple Life: Uninteresting on first listen, but grows on you. The One: Rightful classic. Sweat It Out: Great song. Lovely jazzy piano at the end. Runaway Train: Love it. Whitewash County: Love it. The North: Love it. When A Woman Doesn't Want You: Love it. Emily: Chorus needs work, but still great. On Dark Street: Meh. Understanding Women: Love it. The Last Song: Beautiful and touching. I have never cried over a song but this one certainly makes you think. After reading your post yesterday, Greg, I put Sleeping With The Past in the stereo and my opinion has not changed. It was posts on the newsgroup that made me get SWTP and not Ice On Fire. I wished I had gone with my instict. However I do plan on getting Made In England and Elton John before Ice On Fire. I have some Elton collecting to do... Isaac "Screw you."
