Well, maybe your interest the movie comes alive, but she's not much of an actress. It looks as if Mehta had to find an actress who was 1) young, 2) beautiful, and 3) capable of passing for several nationalities, including Spanish and Indian, and she did: but that actress couldn't really act, unfortunately. > Another problem is each Hindi song is subtitled but only the > first line and this is a fatal mistake . Whereas I thought Mehta's point was obvious: once you understand basically what the song is about--which was the purpose of the initial subtitle for each song--you don't need all the lyrics, because the performers' actions and facial expressions explain everything. (Plus, some of the other subtitles scattered throughout were good jokes, such as the wrestler's URL.) Robert Matthews
