I just got back from a weekend of world music and the group Visten (http://www.worldmusicfestival.com/performers/2003/vishtenpage.html) played. You might notice the lady on the right has that most dangerous weapon in her hand, a Violin!!!!!!! But coming through customs our brave and fearless agents opened their gear two or three times. Probably the last inspector was brave enough to see if it would explode - the SOB broke the bridge and we had a 16 year old find out about it just before their first performance. This was a true world music fest with people from all over the world and down the street. Many of them had similar stories to tell and the son of Obo Addy, a national treasure since the age of four from Ghana, could not get his son in even though he had been a frequent visitor in the past.
