Third World, led by vocalist Bunny Rugs, one of the finest singers to emerge from Jamaica, will mark their 30th anniversary as a band with the release of "Ain't Givin' Up", their first new studio album in four years and only their third studio album in a decade (Hit the streets on May 13, 2003). Shanachie General Manager Randall Grass states, "We're thrilled to sign Third World. The group is the longest-running self-contained reggae ensemble in the world and they have scored more pop hits than any other reggae group." "Ain't Givin' Up" is an irresistible set of pop-reggae that mixes loves songs with inspirational and message material. Highlights include a moving ballad version of Bob Marley's "Natural Mystic" and the environmental anthem "It's Not Too Late."
